Lead Hydraulics Technician

We are currently looking for a Lead Hydraulics Technician to join our Hydraulics team. This position is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis at our Bibra Lake facilities.

You’ll be doing.

  • Flushing, pressure testing, and function testing of hydraulic systems.
  • Operating and maintaining of air-driven tools, pumps, and motors.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting of hydraulic fittings, hoses, valves, regulators, and other components.
  • Operating and maintaining of subsea oil and gas equipment, including HPUs, umbilicals, and accumulators.
  • Working on ROV equipment and tools, making sure they work without any problems.
  • Ensuring that pressure tests are carried out correctly in accordance with TMT and client standards.
  • Managing workflow expectations during busy periods.
  • Providing guidance, mentoring, and advice to other technicians and apprentices.
  • Working closely with Engineering Teams to achieve desired goals safety and efficiently.
  • Communicating with Hydraulics Supervisor and Workshop Manager to discuss resources based on workflow.
  • Providing Supervisor coverage in the absence of the Hydraulics Supervisor.
  • Ensuring work is completed on time, the quality of work meets the required standards and is carried out in a safe way.

You’ll bring.

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
  • Certificate IV in Fluid Power (preferred)
  • Forklift Licence (desired), Working Safely at Heights (desired)
  • 7-10 years of experience in well servicing equipment & operations, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities (desired)
  • Experience working with riserless light well intervention equipment (desired)
  • Experience working with subsea trees and IWOCS equipment (desired)

Junior Technical Writer

We are currently looking for a Junior Technical Writer to join our team.

You’ll be doing:

  • Working with our Engineering Team and our Technical Writer to develop (by using suitable language) equipment specifications, work instructions/procedures, operation and maintenance manuals for remotely operated vehicles and intervention tooling and other equipment the company develops.
  • Completing/lmproving product flyers and other publishing material and content, reviewing published material and recommending revision, scope, formatting or content changes.
  • Support the Process Improvement Coordinator as directed by supervisor/manager by creating and revising business related documents in line with the relevant document control procedures.
  • Assist the document control process, including the creation, review, approval, distribution, and storage of documents in line with procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining the document control databases and ensure that documents are up to date, numbered, coded and accurately filed in the correct systems/locations.
  • Any other tasks as directed by supervisor/manager.

You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (eg engineering, technical communication, or a related discipline)
  • Trade qualifications in Electrotechnology or Mechanical (desired)
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly grasp complex engineering concepts
  • Proficiency in document management and formatting tools (eg Microsoft Word, Adobe Framemaker, or LaTeX)
  • Familiarity with graphic design software and tools (eg Adobe Illustrator or Visio)

Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Purchasing and Logistics team at our Bibra Lake office and workshop facility. This role is an immediate start on a casual basis.

You will be doing

  • Verify accuracy of incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and ensure compliance with purchase orders.
  • Document and report discrepancies or damages to supervisors; maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Efficiently store items, prepare and pack orders for shipment, and ensure secure packaging.
  • Label and track packages; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, assist with physical inventory counts, and report low stock or damaged products.
  • Assist with inventory reordering, perform quality checks, and help maintain quality standards.
  • Keep workspace clean and organized; complete shipping and receiving documents accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively about inventory, shipments, and issues.
  • Handle physical receival of goods and update ERP system data; arrange domestic and international freight.

You will bring

  • Current driver’s licence and High-risk licence forklift (FL).
  • Previous experience in logistics, including goods inward and outward handling, and packing/packaging for warehouse storage.
  • Domestic and International logistic handling, Certificate III in Warehousing Management and Operations and Training in Dangerous Goods Air/Road/Sea (desirable).

Electrician

TMT is currently seeking an Electrician to join our Electrical team. This position is offered on a Full-Time basis at our Bibra Lake workshop.

You’ll be doing

  • Keeping up to date with appropriate codes and standards.
  • Must be available as required to perform remote work offshore or off-site, this includes but not limited to ROV operations, tooling, mobilisations, demobilisations.
  • Installing, maintaining, and testing TMT electrical equipment and ROV system both onshore and offshore.
  • Completing test records for electrical projects.
  • Assembly and wiring of electrical enclosures and distribution boards.
  • Tagging and repairing of tools and equipment including updating the tagging and equipment register.
  • Supervising and mentoring apprentices.
  • Hazardous area inspection on various electrical equipment.

You’ll bring

  • A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Be willing/available to support unplanned and planned Offshore Operations.
  • Maintain a safety-first attitude while working under pressure in a high-risk environment.
  • Can manage multiple jobs with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to read wiring or circuit diagrams.
  • Experience in fault-finding.
  • Oil and gas industry experience (preferred but not essential).

Additional Training offered:

  • ROV Tooling familiarity, operation, and maintenance training.
  • Hazardous Area Training.
